FRÉDÉRIC BOREL ARCHITECTE | 2011

This project was a part of the process of transforming the district's service infrastructure into a hierarchical network of public spaces. It also seeks to preserve at the ground level the idea of a set of proud and independent structures emerging from an abundantly planted territory, which constitutes the originality of this district of bars and towers designed in the sixties. The complex is a deconstructive mass that complements a skyline in accordance with the buildings transformed by Dominique Montassut into Manhattan skyscrapers, and plays in correspondence with this American district where Kennedy Street meets Armstrong Street.

During the design phase I was involved with general programming, modeling and rendering.  During the construction phase I was present at site visits and construction meetings, and assisted in documenting all unit layouts.
