FACILITY REVIEWS
MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL
GOULD EVANS | 2013
This agreement with MiLB consisted of the office traveling to every minor league baseball ballpark and providing a facility review based on a set of standards. We were provided with a checklist tat must be maintained at each level; short-A, A, AA, AAA. For each ballpark, I would travel to the facility, tour and inspect the facility per MiLB standards, for players and for fans.
I would also Inspect and measure the playing field (per milb standards), including pitchers mound slope and height/base locations/ potential field hazards.
I then would experience a game and focus on fan and player experience
After the game I would take light foot candle readings throughout the field, document and compare to milb standards.
After I return I would write up a report of the facility review with the Facility GM and send a report to the Milb representative.
Disccussions with the GM
•The facility overall
•What they enjoy about it
•What they believe could be improved
•What limits their operations
•How the community feels about the facility
