The new home of the University of Texas San Antonio Athletics, The Roadrunner Athletic Center of Excellence provides world class amenities for the student athlete to compete and succeed.  On a budget, we designed a building using a structural steel frame and tilt-up concrete facade units.  The design minimized the inherent size and scale of tilt-up concrete, breaking the facade both vertically and horizontally.

As a project architect on the project, I was the primary structural coordinator and a liaison between the local architect and our office.  We seamlessly documented this facility between the two offices through daily progression talks and weekly progress prints.
